I am late because I can’t win. I carried disinfectant for the shopping cart. Stayed a good distance away from everyone. AND George brought it home to me. I have gone through the digestive track, fever and now it is in my lungs and head. I have officially given it an eviction notice. It must be out by tomorrow but either my fever has dropped or I am getting the chills…..Through it all..Napoleon has sat at my side. He is my watcher.

Message from Mommy: I have created a monster or monsters. I cannot sit any where without Microwits invading my lap. At least I have trained them not to use claws. However, I have soft little paw pats whenever I sit down on my knee. Then I have to lift them up and pet them, some times all four at the same time. What will I do when they weigh 20 pounds a piece. Do they make an extra wide LazyBoy?

Today’s Tarot Card is the Tan of Wands: oppression. This is the most powerful of the tens in some systems and signifies fire out of control. There are days when I think breeding should be licensed. Let me give you three incidents. Some of you know the shopping carts at Costco. They are close to twice as wide as a normal cart and you can put two kids in the kiddie seat. I saw a woman with a baby smaller than my cat Prescious, both little legs through one hole, bouncing down the parking lot totally focused on: “Where is my vehicle?” and she didn’t have a clue that kid could slip through that hole and crack its head open on asphalt in a split second. I wouldn’t let my cat ride in that cart and he has claws to anchor himself. Number two: My friend gives out samples in a store and this day she was giving out peanut butter. For those of you who spend all your time with your head buried in Fox network, peanuts are a leading allergen, the reaction is amazingly fast and fatal if you don’t get your epi-pen within minutes. Children are super vulnerable. There are HUGE signs all over the cart that say; no child will be given sample without a parent present. As a side note, I’ve had a diabetic child try to get me to get her cookie samples. Kids are sneaky. Hey, I was one once and I was the sneakiest. I think I have a trophy somewhere….One woman had a raving fit my friend refused to give her son a sample of peanut butter without her permission. Direct quote: “How dare you say no to my son.” Example three: A perfect example of the Aryan race is on TV crying, I mean sobbing, that her child will be exposed to an 18 minute speech on staying in school and working hard by the President of the USA. (Future psychiatrists, you need those kids’ names for your future patient list.) Licenses are in order folks because these people are too stupid to raise kids, find their car or get out of bed in the morning which probably how they ended up with kids…too much free time in bed. We can only be glad the odds favor the children will be much smarter than the parents and they have meds for what will afflict them. At least one of them will be out of the breeding pool because no woman is going to hook up with that Momma’s Boy. However, if the kid asks me to hand him a loaded gun so he can blow his brains out, I will sure to not say no to your precious little boy. Are you beginning to understand stupid folks? Put on your tin foil hats and start thinking. The world is not fluffy bunny pink cotton candy. People are going to say no. People are going to say things you don’t like and your child will hear them. These are the years when you discuss these things and teach them to cope with them. These are not the years you put ear plugs in and bubble wrap them. They don’t call the world the school of hard knocks for nothing. Get used to it.
Did I ever tell you that childhood is an invented concept of the twentieth century by factor owners? Yup, there was no childhood prior to the 20th century. As soon as you were big enough to do something, you were working right along side your parents, learning your future occupation. Then factory owners discovered they needed a work force that could read and could follow directions. That was when public grade school was invented. The other levels came as better training was needed. That is why our school system is totally focused not on inventiveness or creativity but passing standardized tests. Those are the skills you need for factory work. Unfortunately we have few factories that use humans…..and a really high unemployment rate. Me thinks the system needs retooling.

This has been a really rough weekend pain wise so forgive my brevity.
Has anyone noticed how easily people accept things without thinking? It worries me. Take two metaphysical concepts that have blossomed. 1. You are completely responsible for your reality and everything that happens to you. 2. We are all connected.
You can’t have it both ways. Either you are totally isolated creating your own reality and affecting no one but yourself or you are connected to everyone else and their realities are influencing your’s. Any Spiritual teacher that is embracing both those statements should find their classroom emptying fast because they are not thinking.

Due to Cancer surgery on my forehead, I will off indefinitely until I can heal completely, have at least one more operation to remove more cancer, heal….probably until April of 2010 because the way my insurance is written, and it is good insurance, I cannot have the second cancer removed until the insurance rolls over in 2010 unless I want to pay for it out of pocket and my pocket, and I am pretty sure yours, is not that deep. So send energy to stop the second one growing as it could cost me my left eye or get into the bone and brain resulting in death. Thank you for your patience and help.

The title for today should have been pain, suffering and orange juice. Pain and suffering have been the rule all night and day. The orange juice came when George poured me a HUGE glass to go with breakfast and Prescious in his usual manner attacked my breakfast tray causing me to win up sitting in ice cold orange juice and hence I am still washing bed clothes, my clothes and even my slippers. They must be washed and dried before bed time. Oh the fun and games of cats.
This whole tempest in a teapot over President Obama addressing the school children is three steps beyond the ridiculous. To begin with, do you have any idea what your child’s teachers are really saying. I mean, you aren’t in the classroom with them. Do you know what they are hearing on the playground, in the halls or reading in the library? Heck no. Anyone who thinks they have any control over what their child is exposed to is living in a fantasy world or has long term memory loss. Come on folks, what all did we get into as kids and young adults right in those hallowed halls? Are you guys going to tell me you never saw the inside of a Playboy magazine or National Geographic until you were 21? I used to sneak out of the teen section of Public library and read the Communist version of Life. It wasn’t hard. Even in the well staffed library of my youth, a trip to bathroom was an easy escape route. Did anyone know what Bush was going to say or do before they let him into a classroom? I bet he didn’t even know. Get real folks.

Message from the Microwits: We are four. We maybe small but we rule the house. Last night, one huge Prescious cat took over the cat log, hanging out on all sides. I, Fiona, pestered him from the holes until he left. That is my cat log! That is my spot. It took three hours but I dislodged him. Now he is resting in bed beside Mommy. He won’t come back. Last night Mommy came out to watch TV and we took command of her lap. We own the kitchen. We are small. We can get into anything! Fear us!

First off, let me make a pronouncement. I am white. I thought you should know that. You should also know that I was raised among minorities where I became the minority. I am bi and perhaps tri or more lingual. That means I speak/read more than one language. I have been in or lived in every state in this country except Alaska and several other countries. I have known world leaders of both the political and religious ilk. You would have a heart attack if you knew who my godfather is. I do not expect him to take care of me…I’m 58 for the Goddess’ sake. I can take care of myself. Most of my family is dead and the rest wishes not to know me. I am a Druid. I am a card carrying….heck I printed most of those cards…member of the metaphysical community. I am married to a white man, English/Dutch for those who might want to send sympathy cards, born and raised a Southern Baptist in Hialeah, Florida, who except for a stint out of the country in Vietnam, where he became a Buddhist, never ventured past Hialeah until the day he accidentally met me. See what happens when you send your boys off to war. Little did he know what was about to befall him…I don’t think it fully sank in until two weeks after he married me and asked why the rice never came out white when I cooked it. It was brown rice. Then he heard me conversing in Spanish and discovered what my father really did for a living. Gee, the fact that I could outshoot an ex-Marine wasn’t a red neck thing! S**t!!!!J
Now with that said, I have to say many of my contemporaries are hiding. The negativity surrounding the events since the election have affected them because people with psychic sensitivity are very influenced by the events going on in the world. It is to them I speak today and to those of you who are just feeling like they are either paranoid or not paranoid enough.
What you are hearing and seeing is just the loudest. The people who think like us have spent centuries hiding, keeping our mouths shut and being patient and breeding. We are now in the majority and the old White Men’s Party woke up from a long slumber, looked around and messed their pants.
I have lived the opposite life. All my life I have looked around and no one, not even my own family, resembled me. Kids used to ask who the two strange people were who picked my up at school. I have sat in class and not understood a word of the language being spoken around me, but I adapted. I learned. There were other “Americans” in the class, loudly speaking English and refusing to respect a teacher who didn’t speak English in a country that didn’t speak English. I saw the Ugly American up close and personal. I also saw the patience of a revolution brewing and heard the words; it is just a matter of time and it was. T’was a good thing I had the foresight to learn the native language around me.
It is time.
I remember getting off the bus in Scotland and just standing there, looking around in awe. For the first time in my life, everyone looked like me. I just stood there for about 15 minutes gapping at people like an idiot. I blended in. I was one of them! Now, let’s put Dick Cheney in downtown Miami, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles or pretty much any large metropolitan area. I think you will be able to pick him out from the air, really really high up.
I took a mini vacation two years ago to the “bible belt” of Florida, real red neck country, and was shocked to discover the necks were brown. Yes, folks, we are the minority and it is a good thing. Unfortunately, instead of adapting, my contemporaries have decided to embrace the Dark Ages and try the money rules trick. Gee, guess who has the money now?
Can you imagine on Tuesday being the owner of the empty desk in a classroom? Just paint a really big target on your kid’s back and stop pretending. If your values are so weak they cannot stand up to a speech by one man, just give up. Your kid is lost. There is nothing you can do including wrapping it in bubble wrap for the rest of the poor thing’s life. If any parents should have been concerned, it was the ones with kids in the class room with Bush. At least you can be sure our president is sober and using proper English, has good nutritional habits and values education. In the end, and it is the end, children grow up and make their own choices. All you can do is provide a good example they respect and will follow. However, you cannot keep someone afraid their whole life. Remember that. Yes, we are ‘tree huggers’, we respect the earth and all her children regardless of their species or state of matter or energy. We know that energy is energy and it is neither good nor bad. It is. Friction happens when energy hits matter. The negative energy is now hitting a huge rock that has been growing and growing and saying; things can’t continue the way they are. It is causing friction and that is what we feel. But the rock is too big to be worn down and eventually the energy will either be absorbed or destroy itself. The very fact that supporters have to bussed into an area tells you they are nothing more than a screaming minority. Otherwise, the supporters would arrive from within the community. And always keep in mind from a military standpoint: now we know exactly who they are and where they live. J An educated man who is not completely white is president of this country. The world changed the day he was elected. You can not change the past. That is a fact. Get used to it. There is no going back We are all one and what one does affects the whole. For the first time in my life in watching TV, sponsors pulled out of a program spouting racist tripe and inciting violence. Huge sponsors, that a year ago would have laughed at the people who threatened to boycott them, picked up their money and went elsewhere. We have won and now it is our responsibility to the next generation to teach them tolerance, acceptance and genuine, not just because it’s a tax write off, social responsibility. So get out of your holes and get to work.

Due to Cancer surgery on my forehead, I will off indefinitely until I can heal completely, have at least one more operation to remove more cancer, heal….probably until April of 2010 because the way my insurance is written, and it is good insurance, I cannot have the second cancer removed until the insurance rolls over in 2010 unless I want to pay for it out of pocket and my pocket, and I am pretty sure yours, is not that deep. So send energy to stop the second one growing as it could cost me my left eye or get into the bone and brain resulting in death. Thank you for your patience and help.

First off, let me make a pronouncement. I am white. I thought you should know that. You should also know that I was raised among minorities where I became the minority. I am bi and perhaps tri or more lingual. That means I speak/read more than one language. I have been in or lived in every state in this country except Alaska and several other countries. I have known world leaders of both the political and religious ilk. You would have a heart attack if you knew who my godfather is. I do not expect him to take care of me…I’m 58 for the Goddess’ sake. I can take care of myself. Most of my family is dead and the rest wishes not to know me. I am a Druid. I am a card carrying….heck I printed most of those cards…member of the metaphysical community. I am married to a white man, English/Dutch for those who might want to send sympathy cards, born and raised a Southern Baptist in Hialeah, Florida, who except for a stint out of the country in Vietnam, where he became a Buddhist, never ventured past Hialeah until the day he accidentally met me. See what happens when you send your boys off to war. Little did he know what was about to befall him…I don’t think it fully sank in until two weeks after he married me and asked why the rice never came out white when I cooked it. It was brown rice. Now with that said, I have to say many of my contemporaries are hiding. The negativity surrounding the events since the election have affected them because people with psychic sensitivity are very influenced by the events going on in the world. It is to them I speak today and to those of you who are just feeling like they are either paranoid or not paranoid enough.
What you are hearing and seeing is just the loudest. The people who think like us have spent centuries hiding, keeping our mouths shut and being patient and breeding. We are now in the majority and the old White Men’s Party woke up from a long slumber, looked around and messed their pants.
I have lived the opposite life. All my life I have looked around and no one, not even my own family, resembled me. Kids used to ask who the two strange people were who picked my up at school. I have sat in class and not understood a word of the language being spoken around me, but I adapted. I learned. There were other “Americans” in the class, loudly speaking English and refusing to respect a teacher who didn’t speak English in a country that didn’t speak English. I saw the Ugly American up close and personal. I also saw the patience of a revolution brewing and heard the words; it is just a matter of time and it was. T’was a good thing I had the foresight to learn the native language around me.
It is time.
I remember getting off the bus in Scotland and just standing there, looking around in awe. For the first time in my life, everyone looked like me. I just stood there for about 15 minutes gapping at people like an idiot. I blended in. I was one of them! Now, let’s put Dick Cheney in downtown Miami, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles or pretty much any large metropolitan area. I think you will be able to pick him out from the air, really really high up.
I took a mini vacation two years ago to the “bible belt” of Florida, real red neck country, and was shocked to discover the necks were brown. Yes, folks, we are the minority and it is a good thing. Unfortunately, instead of adapting, my contemporaries have decided to embrace the Dark Ages and try the money rules trick. Gee, guess who has the money now?
Can you imagine on Tuesday being the owner of the empty desk in a classroom? Just paint a really big target on your kid’s back and stop pretending. If your values are so weak they cannot stand up to a speech by one man, just give up. Your kid is lost. There is nothing you can do including wrapping it in bubble wrap for the rest of the poor thing’s life. If any parents should have been concerned, it was the ones with kids in the class room with Bush. At least you can be sure our president is sober and using proper English, has good nutritional habits and values education. In the end, and it is the end, children grow up and make their own choices. All you can do is provide a good example they respect and will follow. However, you cannot keep someone afraid their whole life. Remember that. It’s been a bad one. My wound pulled away from the scab and the pain started. Some people would love this floaty feeling but I really, really hate it. I have work to do and I can barely more around.
Napoleon is having a jealousy attack. George came home for lunch and that upset his ordered world. I have never seen a cat that is so set in his ways. Nothing can deviate.
I do love the banks and that is sarcasm. I paid off a credit card I cancelled due to the increase in interest rates and got a nasty gram from them that they were reporting it to the credit card bureaus. No thank you for paying your bills, just a basic now we f you for paying your bills.
I was sitting with an ex-acquaintance when he got a collection call from a bank on a credit card they gave him and I quote: “It’s your fault for giving me the card. Everyone knows I can’t pay my bills.” Now would someone explain to me why someone with a bankruptcy a few months earlier and already was late on car, insurance and everything else was getting a credit card with a thousand dollar limit? With good credit, all that company was willing to give me was a 500.00 limit. His opinion: that was a free thousand dollars and he hit the limit the first month. Me, I was carefully paying all my charges each month and getting the “s” treatment. Now I am paying for his bill and the bank’s “mistake” and the bank executives get million dollar bonuses and a bailout with my tax dollars while small business go belly up all over the country that have done their best to run a good business usually taking less than minimum wage out for themselves. I suggest all of us who have done our best, pay them off and never touch another credit card or loan again.
In addition to that, the banks are going to increase fees and eliminate free checking. Why? Because at the end of the year the Fed’s will force them to lower the charges for bouncing checks, so those of us who balance our checkbooks and are fiscally responsible can pay for the people who kite checks and bounce them right and left. If I can figure out a way, I will go to all cash and the banks can go f themselves. Since they love their bad risks so much, let’s leave them with them for their only customers. Seems you are punished in this country for good behavior and rewarded for bad.
Just look at the million dollar shock jocks on TV and Radio promoting assassinations and destruction of the government. Let us try it and we will looking out through bars. They are making millions. I was totally floored to discover one of the minor radio hosts was making 3.5 million bucks a year for spouting venom that would have anyone else in court fighting a defamation of character law suit. Then I see a picture of President Obama being brandished about as Hitler. Is there an ethnic group that doesn’t offend? Well, maybe the Orientals aren’t offended. The Nazis ought to be livid. Geez, it is hard to offend them, but that should do it. Hey idiots, the Master Race was blond haired and blue eyed Aryans. The segmented snake was a call for state’s unity, not state’s rights. Divided we fall was the call to the 13 colonies during the Revolutionary War. State’s rights was the call of the Confederacy during the Civil War. I would say something like, didn’t you take history in grade school, but knowing out ex-president’s scholarship record, I think I already know the answer. Well, let me give you one little lesson in history. The Revolutionary War had nothing to do with principals and freedom and everything to do with cold hard cash. The American colonists enjoyed more rights, representation and freedom that the average British subject. They didn’t want to pay taxes. Wow…doesn’t that sound like Deja vu? The Civil War had nothing to do with slavery and everything to do with…..drum roll….good old hard cash. Once again, the Northern states levied taxes and tariffs on cotton sent overseas for processing and the English wove cotton into cloth cheaper than the Northern factories were willing to do it. Sound like Déjà vu? There is nothing new. That’s your real choice. When the state of Florida created its own property insurance company because no one could afford private insurance, at first they all pulled out of Florida and now they are back with their tails tucked between their legs and lower rates. Why? Competition lowers prices and if that competition has to come from the government, then I say, go government. I want lower prices. Before Citizen’s Insurance, my company that I never filed a claim with in 35 years tried to charge me twelve thousand dollars a year for insurance up from five thousand and exactly the amount of the only claim I ever filed for hurricane damage. My Citizen’s bill even with increases will be less than I was paying 6 years ago for insurance and I can now get private insurance at a lesser rate. Wake up. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Don’t trust the people who are making a profit off you.
Now for a little metaphysical lesson: whatever you give power to will increase in power. Well, duh? So if you keep giving to power to a system that is not working, it will just get bigger and work less. Medicare, the government sponsored insurance program is working. Private insurance is excluding more people every day and increasing rates every month. Which do you want to lend energy to?
I was shocked to see a ‘healing web site’ yesterday with the statement on it: “stop and consider what you did to bring this illness on yourself.” Absolutely! I am responsible for some idiot getting into a car drunk as a skunk, doing up to 95 mph on residential roads, driving off the road onto the sidewalk and hitting me and messing up my hip, knee and back and killing my boyfriend. And for that I should be denied insurance coverage as a bad risk. I, personally, held that man’s nose and poured several pitchers of beer down his throat and then put him behind the wheel of the car and gave him directions to where we walking back from class. I caused the cancer on my forehead because at the tender age of 4 to 8, I didn’t have the fortitude to stand up to my parents and refuse to go out in the sun. I am responsible for my other cancer because I chose to be born with these genes that cause it. I obviously should have refused to be born. Hey, I tried, but a surgeon snatched me out of my mother’s womb. I was willing to stay there. I was a couple of weeks overdue and perfectly happy. Maybe I should sue the surgeon…..

Due to Cancer surgery on my forehead, I will off indefinitely until I can heal completely, have at least one more operation to remove more cancer, heal….

I have no idea where today went. It seems to have flown by. I do know that Mr. B has claimed the chair in the kitchen and any resting in the chair requires a Mr. B on your lap and excessive stroking. Fiona has claimed the top of the cat log and spends the night there. Whenever I exit the bedroom, she climbs up there and demands petting.
After almost a week on no coffee, Purdy von Sweets finally exploded today. I was grinding the coffee and the flew up on the counter knocking poor Indy four ways for Sunday onto the floor and screamed like a banshee. I gave her some ground coffee which she Hoovered. Then she rolled on the floor like I had given her catnip or something. Life is weird!
Lady Jayne got me in the parakeet maneuver. For those of you unfamiliar with this; a parakeet is guaranteed to always hook its beak into your cuticle resulting in excruciating pain. She got me with a claw while kitty biscuiting. So I decided to clip those claws. Yeah, sure, you try to find them in those huge furry paws! I know she has one hidden because I only got 9 clipped. Where it is, I have no idea.
The Hungry Ghosts were appeased with black beans and rice. I even garnished it with some scallions for them.

Forecast and Faery Finder

I did not get on line because I could not find my tarot cards. I knew where I left them: right by the phone! That was when I discovered just how far a cat can drag a deck of cards when he has a convenient drawstring to pull them by. I now have them back and will be a bit more circumspect about where I leave them. Obviously sitting out on the nightstand is a really bad idea! And then I discovered I had no phone. Yes, he had knocked that off and batted it across the floor, too. Napoleon is a very jealous cat.

Today is the Hungry Ghost Festival in China. This is a time when your ancestors arrive at your home, ready for dinner. A feast is laid out for the ancestors to appease them. Now, the Taoists believe these are the ghost of people who died hungry and unhappy and they leave food for them, chant and pray to ward them off. In Rome, they were offered beans by the Patriarch of the family. These ghosts are said to feed off human emotion and are also represented in various metaphysical traditions, the last incarnation being ‘attachments’. So, leave a little food out today. At the very least you will make some wild thing very happy.

What a rain storm we had here. The front yard was flooded and the water was lapping at the front step. Goddess am I glad the builder placed my house way above the street and put that step in. From the scream next door, my neighbor was not as lucky. Then again, this was the builder’s house! I never realized it but I have the most secure roof you can put on a house down here. I call it a pagoda, but there is a technical name for it. It is four equal sloping sides. The head raises to the peak and is removed via an attic fan. It also makes it impossible to lift in high winds. No matter which direction the wind blows from, it hits a flat slope going up. Anyway, the cats and I are dry and safe.
Next Wednesday is a very special day: 09-09-09. The number nine is a number of completion and endings. It is ruled by Mars so the energy can vary from emotional to warlike. When you add the year 2000 into the equation you get 11 which is a master number and it is the number of the humanitarianism. This is the beginning of a new era of spiritual humanitarianism. It is no coincidence that the astrological aspects of the day include a trine to the Sun as the only easy aspect. This is a day to work on yourself. End the things that are not working, Venus (socially), Jupiter (financially) and Chiron (wounds from the past). You will know exactly what because the first aspect of the day is to Pallas, and she always brings you the reward of what you have sown, good or bad. This day also occurs during the waning Moon, which is when we shed things and a time of completion. Mark it on your calendar, gather a black candle to burn to absorb all the negativity you are getting out of your life and psyche, smudge your home and renew all wards.
