Forecast and faery Finder for 12-19-08

12-19-08
Forecast and Faery Finder by Janice Scott-Reeder and the Bitwit Boopster
FORECASTS:
Deck: Navigators Tarot of the Mystic Sea.
Today’s Tarot Card is the Nine of Swords: desperation. Conflict in the mind brings madness. If what we are is not what we try to convince others we are, madness will result. Allowing ourselves to be overwhelmed constantly will permit us to become martyrs and resigned to accept any conditions when we should be fighting to express our potential. Merge with the world and you will finally have a breakthrough. Remain isolated and you will continue to sink.

Astrological Source: Llewellyn’s 2007 Daily Planetary Guide.
Astrologically, the fourth quarter Moon begins at 5:29 AM EST. Unfortunately this aspect is also going to start our morning off with a dead flat face fall. If you can gather everything you are going to need in the evening, put it in a bag and hang it on the front door, you will be a thousand steps ahead because this aspect in these signs causes you to forget things and keep going back after them, ad infinum. Oh, check your shoes and socks if you really want them match. The Moon enters Libra at 9:23 AM EST. The emphasis will be more on appearance than substance and no one can make up their minds. Later this evening, old hurts fall to the wayside as pretty new baubles distract you. Unfortunately, tonight those messy emotions get in the way of your perfect setting.

Deck: Healing with the Fairies.
The Faeries say Inner Power. When our outside is not at its best, we tend to forget that real power is within. It is not what we own, paint on ourselves or entitle our names. It is what we are within the boundaries our selves.

Today’s Cat Comfort card is Big Cat. “You’re full of awesome power. Anything is possible.”
Deck: The Fairies’ Oracle by Brian Froud & Jessica MacBeth
Today’s Faery Finder is on the lookout for first Singer: Unity. Unity teaches us we are all one with all beings and all things. Spend some time in meditation today, expand the boundaries of your physical and mental bodies and touch the infinite. Although this Moon whispers in our ear that if we can just put a pretty cover on a big pile of brown, sticky smelly stuff, no one will notice, Unity serves to remind us, they will once they connect with it.
Today’s Lo Shu Number is 4 and the element is Water. The Boar finds conflict today but the Horse is having a great day.

Today’s Message from the Universe is: “Humility is now in my heart, opening the door to wisdom, true power and peace.
I now allow the love, peace and simplicity of my Soul to shine through.” Annie Marquier creating a world of peace one thought at a time.
These messages are helping so many people that I am setting each day’s card up in a picnics generator so you can tap into the energy during the day. Just think of a rainbow and the energy will come to you.
COMMENTARIES BY JANICE SCOTT-REEDER
Yes, you read the top line right. We have known there was something strange about Bitwit from day one. She walked up to George, came in the shop and made herself at home. She has behaved like an adult cat. The morning after Boopie passed, George called up and said he was certain Boopie and Bitwit were one.
Well, I’ve had a few problems. Just before Boop passed, he had a convulsion and managed, blind as he was, to hook his claw under my right eyelid. That necessitated a trip to the ER where I sat from 7 to midnight waiting to see a doctor. Before you head over to West Boca Medical Center you might want to consider they have one doctor covering the whole ER and turn around and head over to North Broward where they have more than one doctor, easily get a specialist down to see you and generally move faster. I just hope this guy was right and my eye is all right. I also hope someone explains to the medical staff what hearing impaired means, because only the intake staff had enough sense to talk straight at me and try to turn away when talking. I will say they gave me a good pill because the pain stopped and I felt really good for twelve hours. Then again I was unconscious so I am assuming I felt good. Not taking any more of those! My vision is still blurry in that eye and it feels scratchy. Thus I was not at the shop yesterday, but today, I cooked Bitwit an egg and as an afterthought threw some sour cream on it for the shop cats and arrived on time to open.
I thought Isis and Ra were eating with her, but by the time I got the new gargoyle in and unpacked and turned around, she had run them off and eaten all the sour cream and only a bit of the egg which was her favorite. Boop never cared for fried eggs, Bitwit did. She looked like she was about to pop. If I kiss her on the head, instead of trying to escape, she now purrs like Boop. She was never a kit that would allow me to hold her and now, I can hold her, carry her around and generally pet her to death. All these were Boop traits. She now talks to me and is playing with all the other cats. Even Ra has accepted her, suddenly. I guess Boop got his new body ready early, brought it into the shop and when both of them got sick, he made the transfer. So now we have Bitoboop.
I am going to say one thing about handicaps. Being hearing impaired sucks. If you are blind, you get sunglass, a white cane and maybe a dog. If you are hearing impaired, you spend the rest of your life trying to get people to enunciate, look straight at you when talking -so you can read their lips- and generally asking people to repeat things a few dozen times and still they forget! If the cops stop you, they assume you are being a wiseass, cuff your ass and maybe taser you all because you cannot understand what they are telling you to do. With two hearing aides, I am functional, but sometimes, I forget to put them in. Not only that but so many people are so vain, they have made them virtually invisible. That’s nice if they actually fix your hearing but when you are almost deaf, they are just a patch and a poor one. I need a big old blinking sign on the top of my head.
