Forecast and Faery Finder for 09-17-08

09-17-08
Deck: Navigators Tarot of the Mystic Sea.
Today’s Tarot Card is Death: transformation. Regular routines are disrupted and the unexpected rears its head. Your life patterns are changing and there is no reason for fear. These new circumstances will explain a lot of what is now happening in your life. Appreciate those you love.

Astrological Source: Llewellyn’s 2007 Daily Planetary Guide.
Astrologically, the Moon enters Taurus at 8:56 PM EDT. Social events are a little nebulous for the next week and this morning you may be scratching your head trying to figure out if you were invited or not. On the other hand, this is a excellent time to attend any sort of meeting involving metaphysics or magick. Around noon you may find yourself ready to hit your forehead as what you forgot to do comes rushing in. You might want to slow down today and double check your calendar. The evening hours are excellent for making changes and challenging habits that are not good for you.

Deck: Healing with the Fairies.
The Faeries say it’s a day for beauty. Beautify yourself and your surroundings and don’t forget that beauty beings on the inside.

Today’s Cat Comfort card is Catacomb. “Look deep inside. Take time to meditate or journey within.”
Deck: The Fairies’ Oracle by Brian Froud & Jessica MacBeth
Today’s Faery Finder is on the lookout for the Friends. What a boring world it would be if we were all alike or if our friends were nothing but reflections of our selves. That’s what these two very different faeries keep telling us. Celebrate difference today.
Today’s Lo Shu Number is 1 and the element is metal. We, rabbits, finally have a great day while the poor Tiger finds conflict.

Today’s Message from the Universe is: “I let got of my past and the past of others.
I forgive totally and unconditionally.
I stop all the dramas now and fill mu life with playfulness, humor and joy, whatever the circumstance.
I celebrate Life.” Annie Marquier, creating a world of peace one thought at a time.
People often forget that the patterns we and our kittens learn in our childhood create the kind of reactions that will shape the adults we become. If you play roughly with your kitten and allow biting and scratching, you will bleeding once it grows up. Just as I was ready to leave for the shop, Napoleon landed in my lap, fell over and started purring. I had to stop and take ten minutes to pet him and praise his little Kitwit ego for being such a great Kitwit. Soon he will be an adult, purring in my lap instead of biting and scratching. That is why I do not have to have my cats declawed. I have already begun the training not to put their claws out. The Catwits, the previous generation, are trained that with the word “retract” and whenever I say it, they retract their claws. It saves on bandaides and antibiotic cream.
This is the tale of three practice golf balls. I bought a whole package of these white, plastic golf balls with wholes in them. They are a lot cheaper and stronger than their counterparts in the cat toy isle. They all disappeared after Josephina discovered she could hook a fang in them and carry them. One day, she and Purdy vonSweets discovered the game of soccer in the shower stall and two balls appeared. Then I found a third ball and threw it into the shower. Being plastic, I can ever shower with them. Then a fourth ball appeared in the shower. Now, this is the strange part. A huge, baseball sized ball of the exact same type showed up with the other balls on Friday and for the life of me, I have no idea where this gigantic ball came from. Last night, the fifth golf ball appeared in the shower. I am waiting to see if the whole package is going to wind up in the shower.
My hiding place for Napoleon’s Kitwit Rat Toy is no longer a secret. Purrbah goes over and gets himself a toy whenever he want to play now and then Napoleon will put it back. The girls are not allowed to play with rat toys.
