Kitwits are the most advanced species of cat on the planet. That is my conclusion. I have never had cats that planned and executed complex strategies before. They are a constant challenge. Take Napoleon. I would not allow him to stay in my bedroom while I am working at the shop. Why? Self preservation. You have no idea what he can get into but the easier question is what can’t he get into. So far the answer to that is a locked safe. Thus, he decided to come to the shop with me and nothing would deter him from running out the front door. Result: he is resting on my expensive microbead pillow in my bedroom. Josephina collects plastic balls and keeps them in the shower for soccer games. Purdy vonSweets was very angry the boys wouldn’t let her play with the fur rat I bought them. So I looked down and there she sits with the most self satisfied look on her face and the tail hanging out the side of her mouth. She managed to grab it under the door and detach it. Now the fur rat is a Manx. Purrbah can not help his total fascination with power tools as long as they are not running. The electric kitty pan is an exception. I had to throw him out once he discovered how to stop it and get it to run back and forth, back and forth, all night….back and forth!
