Both the Boop and I are having a hard day. He was really feeling sick and spent most of the day taking care of him. I think our sinuses got both of us. It is a little odd to have a cat with the same thing you have. He is also very old but I have raised him since he was a about three weeks old and bottle fed him so he really is my baby.
On the other hand, I awoke with my eye swollen out and hurting from my sinuses. There is one thing about eye pain: it really hurts. You can have 5 broken ribs and your leg half cut off and still manage to hop into the kitchen and make coffee. BUT..when the eye hurts, it closes. I mean you can sit there and say: open and nothing happens. The eye wins. It will not open until it is good and ready.

Today’s Tarot Card is the Seven of Cups: delusion. Remember a beautiful apple can have a rotten core. If you are going to reach for great heights, you had better have your feet firmly planted on the ground or you wind up face first on the ground.
