I am trying to convince Bitwit that following the fly around the shop and crying is not going to make it get off the ceiling and commit suicide in her mouth. She refuses to believe me.
It has been a happy Imbolc. After a week’s absence, Paganwit and Moonprobe showed up this morning and Paganwit is still here. I let Bitwit go out and touch noses with her brother. He hissed and she gave him the tail twitch as only a Bitwit can and came back in the shop with a -let him freeze his little…..off before I invite him in again. Now she is on my shoulder as I type trying to get me to get the fly. If I knew where the stupid fly was I would swat it before I am bleeding.
Anyway, Bitwit is our maiden for Imbolc. The snake refused to leave her nice warm hole and the sun did not make an appearance. No matter how hard the old Druid tried, I think we are in for another six weeks of winter. Sorry folks. I did take a picture of the snake hole for you. Don’t worry about walking past it. She leaves really early in morning and doesn’t return until late and she doesn’t like you any more than you like her. Not even the iguanas were out this morning. Nothing was out this morning.
