Today is the first day of spring for the Japanese and they celebrate it with a House Blessing. You begin with a thorough house cleaning and you can make up a little chant like: Out with the demons of depression, sickness and low energy: In with good luck and good Qi! Then you scatter dried beans on the floor and imagine them whacking the little demons on the head and scattering them out the doors and windows. Dried beans represent good fortune. Gather the beans and some white flowers into a bowl and light some fresh white candles. Give thanks for the end of winter and the beginning of good fortune to the Universe.

The flu has moved up to my lungs and I am not in the greatest of shape. This, too, shall pass. Isis ran out the front door and tried to capture Paganwit and bring him into the shop. I guess she has given up getting the Bitwit to follow her. Bitwit staged a coup and now runs things.
