Forecast and faery Finder for 01-15-09

01-15-09
Forecast and Faery Finder by Janice Scott-Reeder and the Bitwit
According to Llewellyn’s Spell-a-Day Almanac, today’s color is turquoise and the incense is clove.
FORECASTS:
Deck: Navigators Tarot of the Mystic Sea.
Today’s Tarot Card is the Queen of Cups: fascination. Focus your attention of joy and positive energies because if you focus it on obsessions, it becomes dangerous for you and others. Just for the record: if the object of your desire doesn’t treat you well or want you, you are focused on the wrong person. Move on if you must be in a relationship. The older you get, the happier you will become with yourself because you are more confident.

Astrological Source: Llewellyn’s 2007 Daily Planetary Guide.
Astrologically, the Moon enters Libra at 5:30 PM EST. Expect people to be fascinated with their own reflection, wishy-washy, or seeking balance and justice. The later only happens with the more highly evolved of Libras. Most get lost trying to figure out what to wear in the morning. Your dreams in the later morning may have upset you but a nugget of truth was in the early dreams that could raise you far above your current problems. You needed to write it down. This is a morning to shine, so put on the power outfit, dress and act conservatively and get out there and make money. Although the evening favor ideas about new ventures, it is not the time to start them. Do take notes about the changes you want to make in February.

Deck: Healing with the Fairies.
The Faeries say move forward fearlessly. The main block to that is fear. Remember, no two people are the same and no two situations are the same. The fae learn that lesson early because of the wide variety in which they appear. We have to learn it over a life time of experience. I often wonder if we would have world peace if we ranged in size from the tiny to gigantic, moved in air, earth, fire and water and were forced from day one to accept everyone else’s difference like the fae are.

Today’s Cat Comfort card is Black Cat. “Lady Luck is with you.” To which Loki and Solstice replied, “We may be neutered but we are all boy!” Sure, but luck only applies to you guys getting free meals, free vet care and free housing. I sure haven’t won a single thing since they arrived!
Deck: The Fairies’ Oracle by Brian Froud & Jessica MacBeth
Today’s Faery Finder is on the lookout for the Oak Men. Being a Druid, the Oak Men are my favorites in the fae kingdoms. They are often found only in the deepest part of the forest or sometimes, they hide in your local Druid’s oak trees. They can be very frightening until you get to know them. A bit of time spent under their spreading limbs can cause you to emerge with new knowledge or just a nice nap. We have always thought that if Buddha had picked an oak instead of a Bodhi tree, he would have come out from under much sooner but that is just a Druid thought. If you are ever lost in the woods, seek out an oak and ask for help. You will see little pointers as to the way out or to shelter if you have ventured too far in. If you just relax. They don’t want you in their grove any more than you want to be there.
Today’s Lo Shu Number is three and the element is Metal. The Tiger finds conflict today but the Rat is having a great day.

Today’s Message from the Universe is: “This is a period of divine accomplishment for me. Closed doors are now opening before me. Everything I undertake leads to success in accordance with the highest possibilities of my destiny.
I celebrate the abundance and the kindness of the Universe.” Annie Marquier creating a world of peace one thought at a time.
These messages are helping so many people that I am setting each day’s card up in a psionics generator so you can tap into the energy during the day. Just think of a rainbow and the energy will come to you.
COMMENTARIES BY JANICE SCOTT-REEDER
I have been trying to figure out how I managed to get the Kitwits addicted to coffee. Cats do not normally even want to taste coffee though I have had a few olive eaters. Then I remembered something about feral cat behavior. Feral kittens are taught to only eat or drink what their mother eats or drinks. It is a survival mechanism which seems to gone while with old Moon Probe outside. She had a full grown baby boy following her around asking permission to eat and a several month old brother to Kitwit still nursing. She was spayed and the older baby was neutered. No one can catch the one we call Paganwit. Well, I took them home when they were around three or four weeks old and I became the Mommy. So they began to eat and drink everything they saw me eating and drinking. When they saw that cup of coffee on the nightstand, it had to be good and they started drinking coffee. Now they are addicted. This also means I often catch a flying Kitwit in midair trying to land in my plate of food. Actually, that usually happens a couple of time a day. We had quite breakthrough. When I arrived at the shop, Paganwit and his keeper, Howler, were at the front waiting for me and hungry. So, when I came in I had left the door open since there were no office cats to be seen. They were all sound asleep on the cat tree. By the time I got the cat for them, Paganwit was four feet into the shop looking around and he spied his sister, Bitwit. Well, Bitwit came to the door when he ran out but stopped on the threshold. She is a civilized cat. She is not stepping into some unknown dirty place and she just sat there waiting until he came up and touched noses with her. You should have seen the ‘royal’ look she gave him. You just knew he was some grungy alley cat she might allow into the shop if he behaved himself. Then she turned and gave him the royal tail flick, dismissing him from her audience. Just think, a month ago, she was grungy little alley kitten letting George carry her into the shop for a can of food. Now she is a princess shop cat with her own attendant: Isis and loyal subjects: me and George.
