Today’s Faery Finder is on the lookout for G. Hobyah. Although Brian Froud says he doesn’t know what the G in his name stands for, I have a hint. He is a Hob Goblin. The G stands for Goblin. Goblins exist in a world where only the strongest and the meanest survive and they love to torment things. He loves to torment us with imaginary fears, unreal hazards and all the things that hide under the bed and in the closet. Actually both those locations are palaces compared to what he has in the Goblin realm so never give him an excuse to move in with you. Seeing you quaking under the covers is his best dream. However, you can give him some real work if you manage to make friends with him, and that is warn you of realistic hazards. I would say to leave him an offering but goblins tend to eat carrion and spoiled meat smells really bad to us. You could let him in your refrigerator once a month to clean it out.
Today’s Lo Shu Number is 3 and the element is fire. The Monkey finds conflict today but the Rat is having a great day.

History has been made! Actually, history is made every day, some days are just more important than others. I started thinking that in my life time I have seen TV created, a man put on the Moon, computer shrink from a whole room to something I hold in my hand, a president assassinated, landers put on Mars, a huge telescope bring back images of the universe so breath taking you just want to hop a spaceship and see them and a mixed blood president. Now some people think the later is important and groundbreaking but in my universe, the fact that we elected a SMART man rather than the usual idiots is monumental. As Jay Leno said last night, “We are finally going to hear the four words we have waited 8 years to hear: ex-president George Bush!” Now, let’s roll up our sleeves and get to work. Let’s each and every one vow that we will do our jobs to the best of our ability starting now!
