Forecast and Faery Finder for 07--21-09

Forecast and Faery Finder
By Janice Scott-Reeder and the Bitwit

Due to Cancer surgery on my forehead, I will off indefinitely until I can heal completely and have a second surgery on the other side.

According to Llewellyn’s Spell-a-Day Almanac, today’s color is scarlet and the incense is Bayberry.

FORECASTS:

Deck: Navigators Tarot of the Mystic Sea.

Today’s Tarot Card is the Death: transformation. Now comes a great and significant transformation in your life. Your regular routine may end and the unexpected occurs. Your surroundings and circle of friends will change. There is no need to feel fear because there is nothing you can do. You will just have to roll with the punches and try to land on your feet with a vow you will do better.

Astrological Source: Llewellyn’s 2007 Daily Planetary Guide.
Astrologically, the New Moon is at 10:35 PM EDT, 29cancer27 and a Solar Eclipse. This is a Cazimi Moon which occurs whenever any planetary body is within 17 degrees of the midpoint of the Sun. and is considered lucky because the angles gives the body accidental dignity (energy) rather than removing energy from it. This will not make up for bad aspects however this is also the point at which the moon goes void of course tonight so there are no aspects. This period last an hour before and after the eclipse at 10:35 PM EDT. With the Moon in Cancer, this is an excellent time to start home and family projects and is why in the Chinese horoscope today is good for nothing but births. For the next week, it is good period for social events but be forewarned, people bore fast. Old wounds and karmic debts come back to haunt us, but most of us just find them annoying as we clear up the debt. However, if you have been skating on some major karma, this is the couple of aspects that will get you big time: finances may be seriously impacted, jobs demoted and there will be more cleaning up than the original offence. Now wouldn’t it have been easier to be nice in the first place???
The Moon enters Leo at 11:28 PM EDT and let the drama begin. What a day! The morning is pretty quiet and then comes afternoon. At first you are feeling really successful and ready to rush home and tell them about the fast one you pulled. That will be your downfall, because although you may have been getting away with murder and mayhem away from home, when you return the place that means the most to you, it is waiting in spades! Those at home may love you warts and all, but this time, they may never forget the warts. Things will not be the same ever again. Now, if you have nice, you have nothing to worry about except perhaps a burnt dinner that is easily relabeled as blackened something. Sometimes what waits behinds closed doors is worse than a public stoning and last a lot longer.

Deck: Healing with the Fairies.
The Faeries say this is a day when many of us will have the opportunity to begin to following our dreams.

Today’s Cat Comfort Card is Something the Cat Dragged In. “You’ve been having a hard time; things will get better.”

Deck: The Fairies’ Oracle by Brian Froud & Jessica MacBeth
Today’s Faery Finder is on the lookout for Topsie Turvets. Are you confused? Has your environment become a muddle? Are you stuck in a rut? Here they come…the Topsie Turvets! These little fellows will force you to see things from a new perspective even if it involves wax and a banana peal. Trust me, keeping things in good order is far better than a visit from them and the only way to get rid of them is to clean up the mess.

Today’s Lo Shu Number is 6 and the Element is Fire. The Rooster finds conflict today. Today is not an auspicious day for haircuts, medical procedures, writing, gambling and construction but it is auspicious for births.

Today’s Message from the Universe is: “Negativity now vanishes completely from my life. Nothing can threaten me anyone, as I am protected by the light of my Higher Self. I am safe and everything turns out right.” Annie Marquier creating a world of peace one thought at a time.

COMMENTARIES BY JANICE SCOTT-REEDER

It will be another week before my stitches can come out. They were still too tight today and really hurting. Moving around to get to the doctor totally causes more pain and I slept most of the day. George brought me a lovely Cuban pork and rice dinner with plantains. I think they were dipped in honey and deep fried. Even Napoleon wanted to eat one. He settled for some pork. That may have the plan all along.
The Microwits are really growing into little dictators. Fiona is the pretty one with the angelic face and loving temperament. There is something about a bright pink tongue in a black cat mouth that is so cute. Her brother Boogaboo is the largest and in the clumsy stage. Flame can’t seem to make up her mind what color she really is and I haven’t a clue. She is a patchwork but very sweet. The girls tend to stay together. Then there is Bluemantoo who knows he is a full grown cat but just can’t get the little body to cooperate. He tends to jump the bigger cats, who just hold him down with one paw and he lays there looking like he is trying to figure out what went wrong. He doesn’t really hang with the other three being a reincarnate.
I brought my magic box home with my cards in it so I could keep up with the forecasts. Napoleon had to smell every inch of it. He started on the top lid inhaling all that other cat scent, incense and herbs and crawled up there so he could dangle off the lid and even smell the bottom edge when he tumbled off on his head…or was pushed. You can never really trust a faery.
