Today at 5:11 PM EDT., the final eclipse of the year occurs in Aquarius. All the heavy planets except Saturn are retrograde: Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. I know there is argument about Pluto being a planet but Pluto has supporters out there! I’m one! This eclipse is not visible over North America. The culmination of the previous eclipse in Leo, ego and self aggrandizement, is now occurring the Aquarius, the sign of universal brotherhood. With all the heavy planets retrograde except Saturn, this can occur easily or very suddenly, depending where in your chart they fall. For me, the eclipse is at the mid heaven point of my chart and I mean conjunct it. Neptune will be conjuncting the eclipse making it both spiritual and deceptive. Jupiter is in authoritarian Capricorn looking out for our monetary interests but reacting very sluggishly. Uranus is in Pisces making emotions unstable and volatile. And poor Pluto is in Sagittarius trying to maintain justice for all and desperately trying to get people to open their minds to higher education and new cultural norms. It will be an interesting weekend. Ooops! Isn’t that an old Arabic curse: May you live in interesting times? On a side note, I am finding it is really easy to astral project under these aspects.
Last night the Kitwits and I went for a group hug. I managed to get all four on the top of the condo -notice I did not say in - and we had a hug before poor Purrbah fell off the top. Don’t worry. With those huge snowshoe feet, he landed comfortably.

Astrologically, the Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse occur at 5:16 PM EDT at 24Aquarius21. Old wounds may surface in the morning but now you know why they happened and can move on. In the afternoon, things are very psychic or very deceptive. Either way, it’s hard to get your feet firmly planted on the ground. Ego needs verses the good of the whole are the theme for the evening. Personally, unless I was absolutely certain I could keep my ego in check, I would avoid networking because a Venus to Jupiter trine in play allows cautious expansion and prudent investment for the next few days. Boasting just gets your little ego balloon popped. Have a good financial plan worked out by Monday.

Today’s Faery Finder is on the lookout for Lys of the Shadows. We will need Lys in the coming days so treat her kindly. She is the patron faery of social workers and all who help the downtrodden, the addicted and those with no self esteem left. Just be wary, hers is definitely tough love. She is there for those caught in the shadows of their own minds and abused by those who should have protected them. She is right out there, on the mean streets, doing the best she can to pick up those who have fallen through the cracks in our social network. Lys doesn’t work alone, she calls on the special healers among us to help her help others. If you see this little faery, you are indeed a very special person.
