COMMENTARIES BY JANICE SCOTT-REEDER

The Mattress Topper is proving to be way too comfortable. I have a bed full of stretched out cats snoozing. Even the Microwits have attempted to join me. Day two and I awoke with no pain. Oh how I hate getting out of bed! I am just so comfy!
The hurricane is nowhere near me and we had nice sunny skies today. We expect no change from that. Thus, we are safe but some people will remember when I said the hurricane season would start shifting to later and later because the oceans are getting too warm. The Gulf of Mexico did not used to be warm enough to intensify a hurricane this late in the season. How are you liking the global warming? While most of you sit in snow, some of us broil and that is the way it will be until the weather equalizes and we all sweat 24/365. If the change were normal, it would occur slowly and globally like the last mini ice age. Huge swings like this aren’t normal and take time to equalize. Unfortunately, they equalize violently.
Many, many years ago I was on a radio program with Alan Burke and he asked me what the coming weather would be. What I saw was terrifying and I hate to say this, but I saw the weather map from that night right in front of me happening on the TV screen 5 years ago. Other psychics were seeing the USA mostly under water, however, not to brag, but I tend to be a bit more accurate than them. Here are a few things I have seen. I have a seen a world with no wind, not even a breeze, stifling hot. I have seen an ocean with no waves and tide, a bright lime green color. I seen a world where the ocean rises massively an slowly each day like a creeping monster and may not go down again. I have seen a world with an ocean you can not physically swim in and to fall into it is a death sentence. I have seen our country organized into guilds, each wearing their own particular uniform. I have seen a world with few trees, artificial lawns, hedges and plants because there is no water to spare. I have seen a world in which people sleep in climate controlled tubes to get relief from the heat and swim in gravity zero pools because there is no water to spare. I have seen a world in which a pet is a luxury only the rich can afford because there is no extra food to feed one. I have not seen a world I want to live in. But what really scares me is engineers have told me everything I have seen is totally possible! All it will take is a little more heat.
At the same time those many years ago, I had contact with many of the rich and powerful movers, most of whom were worshiping the ground Reagan walked on. I asked one flat out if it bothered him, they were destroying the planet; that there would be no world for his children and grandchildren. I was quickly informed he had purchased a huge amount of land at the top the Andes for his family to retire to when things got too bad. Too bad there will no water there… J. Mother Nature is a harsh Mistress and she always wins.
I have a post op doctor’s appointment on Wednesday but I predict I will be back in the saddle much earlier than anticipated. I was even thinking about doing a show before the New Year, but first, you have to pry me off this mattress topper. How can I go to a motel when those beds will be horribly hard and I will wake up stiff and aching? Incentives will have to be great. And to think, I laughed ten years ago at a friend who stopped taking vacations because he didn’t want to abandon his feather bed…..Oh Winn, I now totally and completely understand. A soft, warm bed beats anything else the world has to offer at my old and doddering age.
I’ve noticed Prescious feels the same way. Other cats will lay on anything, but he seeks out a soft surface for his 18 hour naps. At this moment in time, he is the oldest cat in the house and I have no idea how old. He has to be at least 20 years old or more.
Every time I look at a new computer with all the bells and whistles, I think I really want it, until the moment I realize I would have to transfer all my files and programs. That is when I leave the store. It’s the same with phones, though Nokia does have a new one that works with your hearing aides, I just can’t find out exactly how it works with them….

It amazes me how many folks deny climate change and our hand in it. It really bothers me when alot of them are Christians.
I bought a feather tick as a gift for my wife once. It was great until the feathers started to poke us. We kept covering it up more, the feathers eventually made it through, we finally gave up. The foam sounds like a better Ideal.
Switching computers is a huge pain.
Who'd have thunk we'd ever need more than 64k? That was 8x bigger than my Timex and I never even used up its memory.

First it as more speed...then more memory...now I don't even know what they do...I'm waiting for the beverage holder.
Sticking through isn't all. every time I go to my girl friend's house, I return with a white feather sticking me somewhere and I am no where near her bedroom...they are evil.
As to Christianity, they are following the old Man has dominion over nature philosophy..sure...but nature gets even.
