11-18-09
Forecast and Faery Finder
By Janice Scott-Reeder and the Bitwit

According to Llewellyn’s Spell-a-Day Almanac, today’s color is yellow and the incense is marjoram. If you have a copy of this book, there is a recipe for psychic tea in it today.

FORECASTS:

Deck: Navigators Tarot of the Mystic Sea.

Today’s Tarot Card is the Six of Swords: ascendancy. Think outside of the box. New challenges require more intellectual activity. Think.

Astrological Source: Llewellyn’s 2009 Daily Planetary Guide.
Astrologically:
The afternoon brings more good financial news and the opportunity to use past knowledge, not necessarily gained the easy way, to your advantage. Being playful in the evening may be taken the wrong way and result in tears. The late evening is both romantic and psychic. It is good evening for a reading.

Deck: Healing with the Fairies.
The Faeries say:
Break free of the past. Fly and grow!

Today’s Cat Comfort Card is :
Angel Cat: “Know that you are loved and protected.”

Deck: The Fairies’ Oracle by Brian Froud & Jessica MacBeth
Today’s Faery Finder is on the lookout for:
Epona’s Wild Daughter, Dorcha, is about and she isn’t the most pleasant of Fae. This also isn’t her first trip here this month. She has been showing up in the middle of the Singers and she sort gave me a message to give you: “Learn the lesson, will you! I’m getting tired of creating these nightmares.” Best do as she says before she moves on to depression and madness. It’s time to grow up! Everyone has too much on their plates to play silly games.

Today’s Lo Shu Number is 3 and the Element is Fire. The Rooster (George) finds conflict today and the Rat finds ease. Today is not an auspicious day for haircuts, writing, gambling, construction or births.

Today’s Message from the Universe is: “I know that peace on earth begins with my own inner peace. I release all negative thoughts I might have about myself and others. I rediscover the purity, the simplicity and the power of the Divine Child within me.” Annie Marquier creating a world of peace one thought at a time.

COMMENTARIES BY JANICE SCOTT-REEDER

I am running late tonight. I was sneezing so bad last night I thought maybe Napoleon had the pepper shaker in here. I could not stop sneezing. I awoke with a headache that wasn’t a migraine but a you are squeezing my head and my eyeballs are popping out headache. Then the nausea hit. At first I though I had eaten something bad. Then I noted on Facebook that it was going on around Broward County. So I have the local bug. I am really working on the affirmation that this beverage contains healing energy, not that I have been able to drink much more than water.
I did celebrate with a ginger mini muffin. Believe me, these are mini muffins. Any smaller and could put one in teaspoon. What am I celebrating? Today I scheduled the last payment on another credit card! Yes, one more down and sights set on the next one. Target, you are gone in January! Chase, you are gone in December!
Have you seen the new guidelines for mammograms? The risks cited include the anxiety caused by scheduling the mammogram and the false positives. Under those risks, you could also place paying bills, but I doubt if anyone is going to let me not pay for a month to preserve my health!
Since you’ve been working so hard on your new moon challenges, take tomorrow off and enjoy one thing you haven’t had for while! Reward yourself!
My cards are nicely charged. My LED candles are all ready and life is good. I really love those candles. So far the cats have knocked all four candles over at least twice. Think what would have happened if they had been real candles?
I know you all get these emails that start out, “God wants you to know…” A friend who found her in box full of them said she was relatively certain if God wanted her to know something, he wouldn’t be sending her an email. Hard to argue with that logic.

Those emails drive me nuts, they usually end with some sort of "You don't really love God if you don't forward this." Some are down right awful. (Christian Lies I posted in my blog)
Christians believe that God authored a Book that has everything a Christian needs to know. Did He forget something?

Tolerance and I will using the internet to contact you???

Good answer!
I doubt God forgot tolerance, it is just that He reveals bits of His character in his book and He is intolerant. In fact His intolerance is a big theme in the Book!
Really, that makes His love and grace even more remarkable.
True tho, some of us christians are remarkably Christlike in our intolerance...but we fall way short on emulating Him when it comes to grace, forgiveness and love. Intolerance when not tempered by grace, love, humility, and other virtues I forget, well it's just not tolerable!!
