Forecast and Faery Finder for 09-22-08 - Cats. dogs and Quantum Physics

09-22-08

FORECASTS:
Deck: Navigators Tarot of the Mystic Sea.
Today’s Tarot Card is the Sun: organization. I love this card in this deck and it was the reason I bought the deck. A man is trapped in solar orb while to faces in the orb look in different directions. A plum colored woman lounges reading a book on the lava field with a red head salamander surrounded by flames keeps her company, the net she captured it in stands in front of it should it escape. An antelope is chased by a tiger in the back ground as the race past the pansies growing the lava to a lotus filled fountain under a night sky. All things are in their place. The card signifies reorganizing your goals and intellectual activity. Get rid of negative thoughts and replace them with discipline. Time is passing rapidly and if you don’t use your untapped talents soon, it will be too late. Let your dreams guide you in a creative activity. Just remember, you will need patience because once we find what we want things never move fast enough.

Astrological Source: Llewellyn’s 2007 Daily Planetary Guide.
Astrologically, the Fourth quarter moon begins at 1:04 AM EDT. The Sun enters Libra at 11:44 AM EDT and it is the Fall Equinox. Light and dark are for a moment balanced and then the time of darkness begins. It is the time of harvest, storing and preparation for the rebirth of the Sun at the Winter Equinox. For the next week, a lot of change and success comes to you through social events. Tonight is not a good time to challenge authorities or elders at home. The energies will only bring them down on you harder.

Deck: Healing with the Fairies.
The Faeries say enjoy the magic of nature today. Eat your lunch outside. Plant some flowers. Walk through the park. Wiggle your toes in the grass. Ground yourself and give your inner child permission to skip.

Today’s Cat Comfort card is Cats 22. “Feeling trapped? Think laterally and the answer will come.”
Deck: The Fairies’ Oracle by Brian Froud & Jessica MacBeth
Today’s Faery Finder is on the lookout for the Oak Men. Deep in the primordial forest, where the oaks are the oldest and the Dryads no longer dance, the Oak Men dwell. So frightening is their appearance to some, that they flee from this spooky place. To others, their snaggle tooth smile, glowing eyes and deeply creased face is a comfort and place of knowledge, depth, strength and ancient wisdom. They are slow to answer and slow to move but as sure as the power of water, they always win. They tell you to look again, this time deeply and you will find your way out of the forest or out of the box you have placed yourself in.
Today’s Lo Shu Number is 2 and the element is wood. Sheep are finding conflict today but the Monkey has a great day.

Today’s Message from the Universe is: “I acknowledge the wonderful qualities I have within me. I open up to the beauty and creativity of my Soul and I accomplish great things easily and successfully.” Annie Marquier, creating a world of peace one thought at a time.
COMMENTARIES BY JANICE SCOTT-REEDER
Cats, Dogs and Quantum Physics
Have you ever noticed that some cats, or Kitwits, are capable of bonding with you at a molecular level? I think I have finally worked the complete process out. First they align themselves with the selected body part. Then they begin a deep, full body purr which causes the electrons that are normally popping in and out of reality to synchronize with the spaces between your electrons and wham, they succeed in bonding at a molecular level about three or four electrons deep into your body.
Now cats are not the only animals that do this sort of thing. I noticed a similar phenomena with dogs. If you look at dog, how much of the total dog does a nose make up? I’m guessing less than a tenth of the total body weight. However, once said dog lays its nose on your body, all the heaviest particles - neutrons - migrate, just like the electrons in a cat, to the dog’s nose and just like that - pop - the dog’s nose weighs at least ten pounds.
Faeries, Faeries…..Faeries!
George spoke to hastily about skipping the Faery Faire because of all the work we have to get done at the house and shop. He really ticked them off, big time. Now, we spent two strips to the house trying to find his keys that were laying in plain view in front of the gate and no one knows how they got off his key ring. I think I am going to be taking time to make some faery gardens and housing to appease them.
