Forecast and Faery Finder by Janice Scott-Reeder and the Bitwit

According to Llewellyn’s Spell-a-Day Almanac, today’s color is Indigo and the incense is Ivy.

FORECASTS:

Deck: Navigators Tarot of the Mystic Sea.
Today’s Tarot Card is the Nine of Wands: intensity. Linear thinking is misleading you. When approaching the unknown, do so with skepticism and double check your facts. All your instincts to show you the correct action to take. They, alone, reflect your destiny.

Astrological Source: Llewellyn’s 2007 Daily Planetary Guide.
Astrologically, Pluto goes retrograde at 1:35 PM EST in Capricorn. After a flurry of talk and emails all day, it is time to rest and recharge in the evening. If you don’t you will get a little touchy because you are just plain talked out. For the next week or so there may be some major tantrums where limitations, rules and regulations are concerned.

Deck: Healing with the Fairies.
The Faeries say this is a day to honor your true feelings.

Today’s Cat Comfort card is Cheshire Cat. “Smile! Share your joy with others.”

Deck: The Fairies’ Oracle by Brian Froud & Jessica MacBeth
Today’s Faery Finder is on the lookout for Tobaira of the Waters. Faery waters are human emotions. Tobaira suggests we gracefully accept change and move on. Meditate to attain serenity. She is the keeper of all healing wells and bodies of water.

Today’s Lo Shu Number is 4 and the element is Earth. The Rooster finds conflict today but the Horse is having a day of ease. Today is Ching Ming. Ching Ming is Grave Sweeping day. The day begins with setting off firecrackers to drive evil spirits away and alert the ancestors of the presence of their relatives. Three cups of wine are poured behind the headstone. Each relative bows to the grave and ancestors and the gave site is cleaned up. A new head stone may even be installed.

Today’s Message from the Universe is: “If I persevere and keep the faith in my ultimate success, no power on earth can prevent it. God protects and supports me in all my endeavors.” Annie Marquier creating a world of peace one thought at a time.
These messages are helping so many people that I am setting each day’s card up in a psionics generator so you can tap into the energy during the day. Just think of a rainbow and the energy will come to you.

COMMENTARIES BY JANICE SCOTT-REEDER

A couple of years ago before I started getting the economic downturn vibe, I splurged on an atomic clock that had four different environmental sounds. It was under 30 dollars but that is a splurge in my book. I am Scottish. If you have cats, you really should listen to every one of the “environmental” sounds. The ocean has seagulls, the tropical rainforest has parrots and the summer night has birds. I am even certain there are a couple in the thunderstorm track. Needless to say, I don’t use it. I am sitting on the bed and suddenly I hear a bird. There is no way to just turn this thing off. You can set it for 15, 30 or 60 minutes but you just can’t stop it chirping. Immediately I hit the thunderstorm track but I was too late. Here is Napoleon lurking over the clock, fangs showing, claws out and eyes glowing in full predator mode. He is going to get the birdie out of the clock if he has to take it apart, reduce it to pieces and then reduce the pieces to pieces until he reaches a molecular level. I had to toss him out of the room. A normal cat will forget about this in a couple of minutes or an hour. There is nothing normal about a Kitwit. Some time around 5 AM, some 6 - 8 hours later - Napoleon sneaked back into my room and I got whacked in the head with clock and the Napoleon killing it! I have a slight headache today.
Now, although the Kitwits are predators, they trust their skin mommy. Little Purdy von Sweets got her toe caught in scroll work on my baker’s shelf chasing another invisible something. Without thinking I grabbed her to free her little toe before she broke it. The last time I did this with a cat, my hand was swollen double for two weeks from the bites. She looked into my eyes and I told her to just relax, I would fix it. She went limp in my hands and I lifted her toe out of the scrollwork. Being trusted by a wild cat is the most wonderful feeling in the world of unconditional love. It also beats being bit to bits.
Okay, I don’t know how she did it, but I am certain Bitwit did it. The wicker heart came flying off the top of the spiral case, I heard a thundering cat down the stairs and Bitwit was in the middle of floor in the center of the heart looking cute. I am certain she dropped it, but how she managed to beat it to the floor……well, I just don’t know.
I spent all of yesterday afternoon printing little half inch squares to go on the cash register keys with the products on them. Let us not forget the cash register belongs to Bitwit. I had to remove the plastic caps, place the square in it and snap it back on the register. I had to clean a few of them so it was a slow and laborious process. I also had to fight the Bitwit every step of the way. After tossing her of the register a dozen times, she finally gave up or so I thought. Then I turned around and discovered if she couldn’t have the register, she would have my computer! I am not going to win. I am going to have Tshirts printed up with the cat’s pictures on them and underneath the words: Cat’s Staff. Why fight it?
The oil bottles have arrived and my hand mixed oils will soon be up for sale! The Zip Lock bags are also here so I shall begin the process putting the green lodestones and Black Salt in them to sell. Currently jumping up and down because the Anna Riva VanVan oil is finally here! The reverse evil oil is still on backorder. I may just mix some up and forget it.
Another problem I am having is the Anna Riva oil bottles. They will not stand up, the labels fall off and you can’t read the labels easily. So, I am going to repackage the oils into square amber bottles for sale.
A couple of people have mentioned it and I am in the same boat. Is anyone else out there having trouble with what day it is this week? I was certain yesterday was Friday.
I heard that good old Newt has converted to Catholicism. Some Pope must have just turned over in his grace. Not only that, but he intends to run for office. Hey, someone tell the man the gravy train is derailed and he might as well stay home. There is nothing left to plunder.
How many of you are watching this scandal in England as the expenditures of the politicians are being revealed? Porn and bathtub stoppers? I guess you have to get clean after the movies, but showers are more water efficient. It seems the average English citizen has lost all faith in their elected officials. The only amazing part is they ever had any faith. We gave that up a long time ago over here. Want to buy a Senate seat?
