Forecast and Faery Finder by Janice Scott-Reeder and the Bitwit

According to Llewellyn’s Spell-a-Day Almanac, today’s color is Gold and the incense is Marigold.
This is Orthodox Easter.

FORECASTS:

Deck: Navigators Tarot of the Mystic Sea.
Today’s Tarot Card is the King of Wands: restriction. You need to visualize what you want and focus on it.

Astrological Source: Llewellyn’s 2007 Daily Planetary Guide.
Astrologically, the Sun enters Taurus at 6:44 PM EDT. This is an absolutely great day for all communications, psychic readings and work, matters concerning money or property and ridding yourself of habits and the knee jerk reactions from old injuries.

Deck: Healing with the Fairies.
The Faeries say your problems seem to have you feet stuck in concrete and your ability to soar is limited to a day dream or two. You can not see the forest for the trees. Take a break and bring things into perspective.

Today’s Cat Comfort card is Caterpillar. “Slow down. Take time to focus on the small stuff.”

Deck: The Fairies’ Oracle by Brian Froud & Jessica MacBeth
Today’s Faery Finder is on the lookout for Nelys the Alcheyst. For Nelys the everyday life is an exercise in alchemy. She knows that you can be transformed by your inner self or the things that occur to you. When everything are stuck, nothing is moving and you feel like the Universe is on hold, call on Nelys to wave her rowan wand and all things start moving again. If that doesn’t unstick your Universe, perhaps you need to make some inner changes in attitude, behavior or philosophy. In that case, she will show you the path to take. No matter which the case, something will happen when Nelys drops by.

Today’s Lo Shu Number is 1 and the element is Wood. The Rat finds conflict today but the Rabbit is having a great day. Hair cuts, medical procedures, writing and gambling are favored. This is not an auspicious day for births.

Today’s Message from the Universe is: “I have nothing to fear. Divine Love and Wisdom are now in action and produce wonderful results.” Annie Marquier creating a world of peace one thought at a time.
These messages are helping so many people that I am setting each day’s card up in a psionics generator so you can tap into the energy during the day. Just think of a rainbow and the energy will come to you.

COMMENTARIES BY JANICE SCOTT-REEDER

After I awoke yesterday with a wrecking ball in my head and the migraine from Hades, I wandered into the bathroom and thought: Oh, crap, vertigo. The Universe was tilting at a 45 degree angle. Then I managed to prop one eye open a bit more and saw Napoleon sitting in the shower with a self-satisfied look on his face that only the little emperor can pull off. So, I took a second look and discovered my shower rod was now hanging at a 45 degree angle and Napoleon was enjoying the tent he had made for himself out of the shower curtain. Hey, at least I didn’t have vertigo.
Has the whole freakin’ country gone mad? Twenty states want to secede from the Union. They think they can do it better. Before jumping on that band wagon remember what it brought us the last time. Believe it or not, a banking crisis like we just had though far worse. I know you just said: Huh? This whole thing (the banking crisis) started with Reagan and the return the power to the states by removing Federal regulations. Want to know what it was like without Federal regulations? You had child labor, the company store, debtors’ prisons, slavery, blatant discrimination against anyone who wasn’t a “Christian White Male” with state sanctioned execution of the different ones, states printed their own money with nothing to back it up, they charged as much tax as they wanted…etc. Just this week, we have a city in Miami finding out one of its commissions has been running up 5,000.00 a month cell phone bills for calls to the Dominican Republic that he thinks they should pay for him even though the contract with the commission clearly states the cell phones are for city business only. But the more interesting thing in the whole mess is that Sprint gave the city 10 free cells phones in exchanges for a huge cell tower that it runs in the middle of the city.
Now how is that interesting? There is an anecdotal link between a variety of health problems from migraines (which I never had prior to the cell phone tower being built next door to the shop) to cancer of the brain from the emissions from your local friendly cell phone tower. Cities have enacted laws to place these towers away from homes and schools. So, for thirty pieces of silver, oops, ten cell phones, your local city is perfectly willing to sell out your and your children’s health. Are you sure you want State’s Rights?
Now you may say, call the FCC. Oh, give me fifteen minutes to stop laughing. George Senior pulled the FCC’s teeth because they had too much power and ability to find agencies that should be confining their spying to outside the USA doing it inside the USA. This tower is so far over the limit in allowed emissions that the most powerful wireless phone can not operate over twenty feet from its base station without being swamped. A major TV station’screw could not film here because the tower swamped their equipment. All they could get was static. This was not some dinky public access film crew. This was one of the big three networks. George has the equipment to measure what that cell phone tower is broadcasting and it is so far over the limit it pegs the meter. The FCC is too busy, doesn’t check these things or has no jurisdiction. Take your pick, you will get one of those answers when you call them. That is the real reason I am only here 4 hours a day. Oh, and there is no proven link between cell phone towers and any health problems. Now there is link between cell phone usage and brain cancer but the tower with thousands of times the strength of a single cell phone has the government stamp of good health on it. You want your local government in control? I suggest while you are waiting to find a job, you attend a few meetings down at your local government headquarters. Just drop in. Just observe for a week and then write and tell us if you want those yahoos in control of your life any more than they already are.
