Forecast and Faery Finder by Janice Scott-Reeder and the Bitwit

According to Llewellyn’s Spell-a-Day Almanac, today’s color is White and the incense is Carnation.

FORECASTS:

Deck: Navigators Tarot of the Mystic Sea.
Today’s Tarot Card is the Ten of Swords: destitution. Weakness, corruption and the loss of morals mark this card. Don’t worry, Divine Karma is bringing justice to all. Excuses will not work. Accept responsibility and move on.

Astrological Source: Llewellyn’s 2007 Daily Planetary Guide.
Astrologically, monetary and financial changes will be made in the next week. Pay attention to what is going on around you. If you weren’t paying attention and you have leapt without planning, you will be really aggravated when you see the reward you reap this week. Just expect this to be an annoying day and you will be on target.

Deck: Healing with the Fairies.
The Faeries say instead of playing the blame game today, work on achieving family harmony.

Today’s Cat Comfort card is Cats 22. “Feeling trapped? Think laterally and the answer will come.”

Deck: The Fairies’ Oracle by Brian Froud & Jessica MacBeth
Today’s Faery Finder is on the lookout for Lys of the Shadows. She is the patron Fae of all who serve and help others. You won’t find her in Faery Court. She is in the alleys and mental hospitals seeking to help. She tries to bring practical help to you. Self esteem and
Self respect are lofty goals but she will settle for getting you into a good program.

Today’s Lo Shu Number is 2 and the element is Earth. The Dragon finds conflict today but the Sheep and Monkey are having an easy day.

Today’s Message from the Universe is: I quiet my mind and everything becomes silent within. I listen to my intuition. Without expectations or worries, I invoke the divine solution, which comes to me naturally and clearly in the peace of my Soul.” Annie Marquier creating a world of peace one thought at a time.
These messages are helping so many people that I am setting each day’s card up in a psionics generator so you can tap into the energy during the day. Just think of a rainbow and the energy will come to you.

COMMENTARIES BY JANICE SCOTT-REEDER

Tomorrow I start getting ready for CUUPS at Beltaine. Yes, finally, I get to go out and explore the world a little. Hey, I spend most of my time between home and shop. Anything provides a little excitement.
It is with great sadness I report the passing of Mr. BoBo. He had a good quantity of catnip last night, enjoyed the munchies and this afternoon before I left for the shop, he came in and stretched out in the shower like he always does, closed his eyes and took a deep breath and passed on to beyond the veil. He joins his brother, Boopie, on the other side and will be buried beside him tonight. I have a catnip plant to adorn their grave as both of them were real nippers. Mr. BoBo was simply a very old cat and it was his time. He was one of the first kittens to be born at the shop. He started life named Bull because of the bull’s eye on his sides. However, it became apparent that name caused him to butt heads with you and since headaches were resulting, we renamed him Mr. Bobo. Curiously enough, when the lion Bobo up in Palm Beach was in danger of being put down, Mr. BoBo became deathly ill and we thought we were going to lose him. When the lion was given a stay of execution, Mr. BoBo recovered. He has always been a happy, friendly cat, devoted to his brother. He took his loss rather hard. I raised both of them from about three weeks, bottle fed them and they slept with me most nights until the cold in my room started aggravating their joints. Mr. BoBo is already missed by me and all the cats for whom he was sort of the wise old man showing them the ropes of getting food out of me.
My tax dollars are at work across the street today. I can barely get Vanwitch in the parking lot. There is a commercial well drilling company, pumping out the fire well and cleaning it. It is a boondoggle. Why you ask, as it would seem this was a necessary maintenance for our fire safety? Well, it seems none of the fire departments that service the north end of Broward County have a pump truck. Thus, they can not attach to the well and pump water out of it making the well useless in case of a fire. My guess is that is about two grand flushed down the toilet today. Maybe we can paint the well housing and use it as a decoration. They will clean around 5 more in the neighborhood this week for no purpose what-so-ever except to waste your tax dollars. This why you need to get your unemployed rear down to some government meetings and open your mouth. Who knows, when they find out you know what you are talking about you might get a job, elected or paid off to shut up. It’s air conditioned. The seats are comfortable and the entertainment is free…Might as well see your tax dollars being spent. As it is, there is no way to break this contract with the private firm they awarded it to so they might as well clean out useless wells. Maybe we can hook the sprinklers to them…..
