By Janice Scott-Reeder and the Bitwit

According to Llewellyn’s Magical Almanac, today’s color is green and the incense is clove. Today is the fourth quarter waning moon in Capricorn and the French Feast of the Ass. I am not touching that one with a 50 foot pole!

FORECASTS:

Today’s Tarot Card is the Sun: organization. This card indicates it is time to thoroughly reorganize your goals. Eliminate negativity and focus on your goal. There is no time to lose.

Deck: Healing with the Fairies.
The Faeries say:
Rise above your problems. Some times you not only have to think out of the box but get out of the box and take a really good look at where you are.

Today’s Cat Comfort Card is:
Aristocat: “Classy and understated, you’ll attract many admirers.”

Deck: The Fairies’ Oracle by Brian Froud & Jessica MacBeth
Today’s Faery Finder is on the lookout for:
Death makes another appearance today reminding us that some things are ending so new things can begin.

Today’s Lo Shu Number is 1 and the Element is Wood. The horse finds conflict today but the Rabbit has ease. Well, this rabbit is on her way to an ulcer. Today is an auspicious day for haircuts but not for signing contracts or births. Increase your wealth by displaying a Flaming Magic Wheel in the South. You may need it to keep warm, anyway.

Today’s Message from the Universe is: “I let go of my past and the part of others.
I forgive totally and unconditionally.
I stop all the dramas now and fill my life with playfulness, humor and joy, whatever the circumstances.
I celebrate life.” Annie Marquier creating a world of peace one thought at a time.

COMMENTARIES BY JANICE SCOTT-REEDER

If you are able, donate what you can to help Haiti. It is a shame a country that improvised is hit by something like this.
The boys are home from their snip and tuck. Boogaboo charmed every female in the office and has new fan club members. He is going to give Napoleon a run for his money. They are recovering and playing the suffering card to the hilt. After all these years, they should know Mommy is not falling for that. However, they know they can hit George up. The girls have their appointments scheduled the first week in February when their human also has all her checkups for skin cancer scheduled. We can commiserate.
Life is not as bad for us as it is for the 90 of the remaining 150 workers in Boca where George works. However, everyone was told the facility will close in December. Some people will get the chance to relocate to TX and the rest will just be laid off in trickles over the next few months. George has been with them for 30 years. Of course, if you relocate to TX there is no guarantee you will have a job there in 6 months either. To say we are up in the air and circling the toilet is an understatement. George qualifies for Medicare the end of August but I am still way too young and have over 6 years to go. It has not been a good year and I am not out of the woods with the skin cancer yet. I don’t think I have to say I am a little down tonight. I think the new corporate motto is: work hard, be loyal and we will screw you eventually.
