Forecast and Faery Finder for 03-20-09

Forecast and Faery Finder by Janice Scott-Reeder and the Bitwit

According to Llewellyn’s Spell-a-Day Almanac, today’s color is Rose and the Incense is Cypress.

Happy Equinox: Ostara. It is also International Astrology Day.

Ostara is celebrated as a time of new growth and new beginnings. Boiled eggs are colored after a wish is written on them with crayon or wax. Then the eggs are eaten to free the wish or left out for the animals to enjoy. Eggs can also be prepared within a circle and energy for change and growth infused into them and then they are eaten.

FORECASTS:

Deck: Navigators Tarot of the Mystic Sea.
Today’s Tarot Card is the Nine of Cups: satiety. Are you out there partying and denying your problems? This is a fear of success and self depreciation. It is true that destiny plays a role in our lives and sometimes we need to go with the flow as long as our principles are not abandoned.

Astrological Source: Llewellyn’s 2007 Daily Planetary Guide.
Astrologically, the Spring Equinox occurs when the Sun enters Aries at 6:06 AM EDT. The morning hours bring lots of communications and you will get the go ahead on some new projects from respected elders or guides. Afternoon is the time for celebration and happy emotions.

Deck: Healing with the Fairies.
The Faeries say there are blocks to realizing your inner power today. It is the Equinox and all things are in balance. So to overcome this block, you must first find inner balance.

Today’s Cat Comfort card is Catastrophe. “What a mess! Get that problem sorted out today before it escalates.”

Deck: The Fairies’ Oracle by Brian Froud & Jessica MacBeth
Today’s Faery Finder is on the lookout for Tobaira of the Waters. You are going to want to read the part of the commentary about magical baths. Faery Waters are human emotions and Tobaira brings us the serenity to accept change gracefully. She is reached through meditation. She is the Faery of all Healing Wells. Her helpers try to keep the waters clear and potent but they have an uphill battle with us as the polluters. There are also wells and springs that give us wisdom and even poetic inspiration like the Hippocrene Fountain. There are fountains that bestow youth like Dun on the highest hill on the Isle of Iona of the west coast of Scotland that only the chosen ever find. All things are mutable and Tobaira helps us go with the flow, for if we become stiff and hard, the waters of change will just wear us down rather than refreshing us.

Today’s Lo Shu Number is 7 and the elements is wood. The Horse finds conflict today but the Dog and Boar and having a great day.

Today’s Message from the Universe is: “I am now ready to take all the risks necessary to completely express my Soul’s qualities. I dare now.” Annie Marquier creating a world of peace one thought at a time.
These messages are helping so many people that I am setting each day’s card up in a psionics generator so you can tap into the energy during the day. Just think of a rainbow and the energy will come to you.

COMMENTARIES BY JANICE SCOTT-REEDER

It is still raining! The weatherman drew a little oval on the weather map of the area getting the most rain, 9 inches at that point, and I was right in the middle of it! And then it started raining again. This is what happens when some idiot paves a ley line and then intersects it with a canal. You get freaky weather. The storms form off the Bahamas tip where the temple steps are and flow right down the Hillsboro Canal to smack me at 441. Oh, it’s a lovely place with plenty of ambient energy, high land, vortexes that move and apparently spit out cats, swamp apes and strange reptiles, and a general feeling of total peace, until the weather goes weird. Welcome to weird weather weekend. Goddess I hope it stops raining long enough on the Equinox for me cast a proper circle and charge some eggs! All this energy should not go to waste.
My standing stones are nicely washed by the going on 10 inches of rain. Fortunately, we are sandy loam and the water pools and then sinks or we would be floating about now. Which brings me to another point. You are aware that when you do magical baths you are not supposed to use city water with all its additives??? Well, if you bring containers, I will turn on the water and you can have totally natural water from the shop well to create your bath. It is a little hard. Actually, I have been hit with softer rocks. But, it is 100% natural, or I can get you into the park down the street and you can bucket from the canal off the boat ramp, but it is the same water. My well is less than a 100 yards from the canal. You will need to take at least 7 gallons to make your mixture for a bath, so gather up your containers. I also have some Anna Riva Hyssop bath in, unhexing/protection herbs and money herbs. The latter have to be boiled to make a tea concentrate and poured into the bath. Sorry, we don’t have a bathtub but we have a shower. However, the really bad news is: no hot water. You have no idea how cold well water is! The easy way is to get seven buckets and divide the concentrate into them. Mix well and pour over your head. You always go from the head down and submerge the head. Now you know why we witch ladies always have such natural hair styles….One of these days when the money is flowing I have plans for a Jacuzzi and some bags of herbs for evening fun and profit.
Napoleon is my constant bed companion. I was having a bad morning with more aches and pains that you can count. Weirdly enough, that neon, rainbow circle returned last night. So I shifted my vision to see the energy in the room and from the storms, there was more ambient energy than a hundred faeries on fermented honey could produce. The whole room was sparkling. I had the whopper of a migraine and couldn’t stand for anything and anyone to even to touch me. It hurt big time! So it was no surprise I was feeling horrible this morning. Even Prescious left without a fight and tried to keep his voice down. That cat is just plain loud. Finally, Napoleon came over and gently laid down beside me and did a few test brupps to see if I screamed. Then he gradually oozed onto me and started to purr faster and faster until he got me up and led me to the door. There everyone was waiting very quietly for their food.
Amid the equally weird stuff, I realized last night that the little kitty outside was a cat that had lived with us for a few years and ran out the door one night and disappeared. We haven’t seen her in at lest three years and now she had returned. She was so miserable and wet I let her in the house and put some Advantage on her. I don’t need fleas. She freaked. She doesn’t know the Kitwits and they started hunting her. Finally, I got everyone settled so I could come to the shop. Geez, I was really ready to call Kissinger for some peace negotiations after I picked up the entire bathroom she knocked down. Get a few cats and you will learn the joys of plastic and other things that don’t break.

Yesterday I got a quote from someone from GW Bush where he says he is the probably the only person in 2008 who succeeding in buying and paying for a house. They wondered how he could be stupid enough to say that. WAKE UP! He isn’t stupid, he is saying exactly what he means. He took you as a bunch of chumps for 8 years and he is laughing his ass off. He never was stupid. He and his friends raped the financial world, pocketed the money and are living high on the horse and laughing their asses off at you. The man has an IQ in low genius range. HE IS NOT STUPID. You have been played.
