Forecast and Faery Finder for 02-11-09

Forecast and Faery Finder by Janice Scott-Reeder and the Bitwit

According to Llewellyn’s Spell-a-Day Almanac, today’s color is Brown and the incense is Honeysuckle. The Spell-a-Day Almanac has a really lovely tea for this day that is supposed to kick the cold out of you. Wish I had the ingredients because it looks yummy and the spell look simple.

FORECASTS:

Deck: Navigators Tarot of the Mystic Sea.
Today’s Tarot Card is the Hermit: exaltation. Whether you intended it or not, you have become receptive to the cosmic vibrations and they are beating your ego out for attention. Even though things have not been going well or because they haven’t, your mind has been freed to dwell on things external to yourself and your needs. Surround yourself with only the essentials and you life’s purpose will be become clear.

Astrological Source: Llewellyn’s 2007 Daily Planetary Guide.
Astrologically, this is a morning of what we call Red Tape. Everything hits rules, regulations and restriction and you revel in them. Cutting through this maze of obstacles will invigorate you! There is no room for emotional outbursts so if you are one the Vampires and con artists out there that uses personal dramas to distract and suck energy, this is a very bad day for you. Come afternoon, we all get frustrated because nothing seems to be clear and a Virgo Moon wants, demands clarity and reasons! However, in typical Virgo fashion, we tend to blame ourselves for the mess when it isn’t really our fault. Mercury has been retrograde for a really long time! The night ends on a good note as we finally get the phone call or communication we have been waiting for and the elders and gods smile up on us.

Deck: Healing with the Fairies.
The Faeries say the Virgo Moon has trouble visualizing anything but worst case scenarios but this is a day when you really, really have to work hard on creating positive visualizations! You can manifest what you put energy into.

Today’s Cat Comfort card is Cheshire Cat: “Smile. Share your joy with others.”

Deck: The Fairies’ Oracle by Brian Froud & Jessica MacBeth
Today’s Faery Finder is on the lookout for Myk the Myomancer. Myk hasn’t been out and about because of the weather. A myomancer is someone who see portents in the movement of mice and the mice have not been out. Myk doesn’t want you to go out and look for mice though you could make a trip to the pet store and stare at them for a while. What he wants you to do is pay attention to the small signs and gain guidance from them. Otherwise the Universe has a nasty habit of dropping a really big sign on our heads.

Today’s Lo Shu Number is 6 and the element is Fire. The Snake finds conflict today but the Rooster is having a great day. George - that’s you: the Rooster.

Today’s Message from the Universe is: “Negativity now vanishes completely from my life. Nothing can threaten me anymore, as I am protected by the light of my Higher Self. I am safe and everything turns out right.” Annie Marquier creating a world of peace one thought at a time.
These messages are helping so many people that I am setting each day’s card up in a psionics generator so you can tap into the energy during the day. Just think of a rainbow and the energy will come to you.

COMMENTARIES BY JANICE SCOTT-REEDER

George has exited phase one of the flu and I have reentered it. I am starting to wonder if we are somehow getting a bit of that tainted peanut paste in our diet, though for the life of me I cannot identify where. Then again, if you have been out to the web sites, the list is daunting and you can’t help but wonder if this is just the tip of the iceberg. I pity anyone with a peanut allergy because darn it, they seem to be in everything! And a side note to the manufacturer: remember when all those babies died in China from tainted milk. They took the CEO out and shot him. Maybe we should be a little less forgiving. Just because big tobacco has been getting away with murder for almost a 100 years doesn’t mean the next guy is going to.
The Kitwits have been comforting me at home and the Bitwit is so angry I am not here all day for her to torture she is trying to wreck the shop at night when the cameras are not on. Yes, folks, she is careful to leave no incriminating evidence after the day I caught her with the green string in her mouth. She is a smart one….
Isis is continuing her campaign to capture Paganwit and drag him into the shop. First, thing she is out of the shop door but only if Paganwit is there. So, again, I had to chase her down and carry her back into the shop. That was pretty much the last thing I wanted to do while doubled over with these cramps. Paganwit does not want to surrender his feral nature and wanderlust. It is obvious he and Bitwit have different fathers, not that Moon Probe was a Ho prior to her spaying but, she didn’t believe in monogamy. Poor old Blueman and his son, Howler take care of Paganwit as she is still off strutting her stuff. Blueman is not his father. He looks exactly like a mangy old Tom that drops by for the occasional scrap of food. She is unfortunately like a lot of women I know. They love the pregnancy and the nursing and then they are off to the next litter leaving their current spawn to fend for themselves. Paganwit is lucky to have such a strong feral support structure here at the shop and he is gorgeous. I really wish he had less feral genes in him. I am sure there is a home waiting for him.
