Napoleon has decided the best place for him is in my briefcase. It is a top loading one and he slips in and goes to sleep. If he wasn’t so heavy now, he might wind up at the shop.

Today’s Faery Finder is on the lookout for the Glanconer. He is better known as Smooth Harry. He allows us to fool ourselves. In him we see our lust, desires and delusions projected back at ourselves. It will serve you to remember that the more you want something, the less clearly you see it. I am reminded of a stalker I had who desperately wanted to be me. So she set herself up as a psychic and discovered the down side was you actually had to work, advertise and deal with people. Then, she wanted my store. However, when she called one day for me to go out to the mall with her and I told her I was open and couldn’t close up to run out and shop, she had a fit. Geez, store owning sounded like work. Then she wanted to be a buyer at another store and when she discovered that involved mark-ups, buying trends and all sorts of nonfun accounting stuff and not just - OOOh pretty: buy, she was livid. Yes, the things we want always seem pretty, until they get their hooks in us. She is still wanting.
