Forecast and Faery Finder
By Janice Scott-Reeder and the Bitwit

According to Llewellyn’s Spell-a-Day Almanac, today’s color is Orange and the incense is Almond.

FORECASTS:

Deck: Navigators Tarot of the Mystic Sea.

Today’s Tarot Card is the Suspension: inversion. It is time to turn your mind inward and figure how it works. Knowing what motivates you, how you work and what is going on in your mind will allow you find the answers you have been seeking. Let me give you a hint. We tend to sabotage ourselves so we can do what we really want to do instead of facing up to our responsibilities. So the odds are really good that you are actually doing exactly what you want to. Does the alarm not go off, your car break down constantly and you have a permanent case of the sniffles? All these things keep you from work which means, you don’t want to go work. So face that issue rather than unemployment.

Astrological Source: Llewellyn’s 2009 Daily Planetary Guide.
Astrologically:
Ceres enters Sagittarius at 3:25 PM EST.
Mars goes Retrograde in Leo at 8:27 AM EST. We can all hope that puts the brakes on some of the egotism but I doubt it.
It is going to be a slow moving, tired day with a preoccupation on others getting what they deserve and not in a good way. The result will be night time arguments.
The rest of the week is an excellent time to network and use social events to get ahead.

Deck: Healing with the Fairies.
The Faeries say:
No surprise considering the season that parenting and children are the main concerns today.

Today’s Cat Comfort Card is:
Catharsis: “Enjoy the freedom that comes with release.”

Deck: The Fairies’ Oracle by Brian Froud & Jessica MacBeth
Today’s Faery Finder is on the lookout for:
Oh dear, the Topsie Turvets are on the loose. You might want to weigh your tree down. All you need to attract them is a bit of confusion and they are on you like white on rice. These little critters are sure you need a fresh point of view and unfortunately it is often found flat on your back after they trip you. So if you are suddenly really clumsy, get out of your mental muddle before you are wearing a cast.

Today’s Lo Shu Number is 7 and the Element is Earth. The Snake finds conflict today but the Dog and Boar have ease. Today is not an auspicious day for gambling or construction.

Today’s Message from the Universe is: “There is no need to rush. Time is working in my favor. With God’s kind help, everything falls back into place in a perfectly appropriate way for my highest good. I stay calm and confident, I take time to celebrate the perfection of the moment with serenity and joy.” Annie Marquier creating a world of peace one thought at a time.

COMMENTARIES BY JANICE SCOTT-REEDER

I finished Born in Fire by Sherrilyn Kenyon today. Although she warned the time line was a little messed up because…well read the intro and you’ll find out….I really didn’t notice. The action never stops in this book and you will really enjoy it if you are into futuristic science fiction romance. Now…on to book 3 which looks good from the excerpt.
Napoleon has a new philosophy of life. I heard a crash and yelled. I looked down the hall and couldn’t see anything but Nappie looking over his shoulder. If I can’t see it; he didn’t do it is his new philosophy.
I had to go to the pet store as Turtle had one more day of her favorite food. It can get hard to find the stuff so I decided to spurge and get two packages. Those little beady black eyes can really get narrow and beady when you displease her. The cats got a package of plastic springs. They have been carrying them all over the bedroom.
Well, I am snuggled up in my long sleeved, fleece lined, long T-shirt as the temperature hits 61 here. Not cold to those of you in a blizzard but we, Floridians, are freezing to death. I don’t think it will last nor will be have a cold winter. Lenux has not gotten his ruff in and his tail is still sparse. He is my wooly caterpillar cat.
